War by Jack Stanistreet
Killing the innocent,
Killing the poor.
As people say,
All’s fair in war.
War brings death,
War kills souls.
War bears arms,
War burns holes.
We fight for honour,
We fight for glory.
We come back home,
We tell our story.
In the end,
No one wins war.
We all come back,
Tired and sore.
